CCDA Annual conference Purpose

><> To inspire new and seasoned community developers, to celebrate their calls and accomplishments, challenging them spiritually and professionally to greater effectiveness.

><> To present best CCD practices, to collaborate and envision breakthrough initiatives, and to study and dialogue about the deeper issues affecting communities.

><> To network with practitioners and national leaders for information exchange and for fellowship and sharpening of skills to be effective advocates for holistic ministry in under-resourced neighborhoods.

><> To strengthen the capacity of ministries and organizations engaged in CCD across our nation.

Conference Objectives

><> Display the unity of Christ’s body serving the poor.

><> Promote best practices and models for neighborhood renewal through workshops and pre- conference Institute classes.

><> Provide resources for community developers.

><> Create networking opportunities for on-going relationships and partnerships

><> Inspire, encourage and support members of CCDA through our general sessions.

><> Expand the organizational membership base of CCDA
