Conference Volunteers Needed Would you like to
Anyone who volunteers a minimum of 10 hours may attend the Conference at minimal cost!! This is an opportunity to serve South Florida churches, communities and organizations as well as represent South Florida to 3000 delegates from all over the nation. You'll also discover what Christian Community Development is all about. There will be a variety of 4-5 hour shifts to choose from. Note: Volunteers are asked to become CCDA members: $25 for annual membership Seeking 200 good volunteers! Age Requirement: 18+ Required Training: October 21st OR 22nd (at the Hyatt Regency) (2 hours / times tba) INTERESTED? Then

II. For CCDA Miami October, 2008 please pick one of the following service areas in which you would be willing to serve as Volunteer:
_____ Ushers NO Experience required, just friendly & willing to help others find their way around the conference venue and get where they need to go. _____ Greeters NO Experience required, just friendly & willing to make conference attendees feel welcome, answer their questions, etc.
_____ Workshop Facilitator: No Experience required,Each of the 100 workshops will have one facilitator that assists the presenter (greet workshop attendees, distribute workshop handouts, pass out, collect evaluations, etc.)
_____ “Techies” (workshop technician) Experience needed: some computer/ technical abilities to assist presenters and facilitators in making sure any requested “audio/visual” equipment is working properly - power point, sound, lighting, temperature, etc. 20 volunteeers needed. _____ Registration Experience needed: Able to give good “customer service” and attention to detail, a “team player” – prior conference registration experience a plus. 12 volunteers needed.
_____ Art Exhibits Artists or those interested in the Arts willing to set up & take down exhibits & facilitate a community art project at the conference.
